The United Nations Office for Partnerships (UNOP) is the United Nations gateway to co-create partnerships to deliver the SDGs – working globally, regionally, and in countries to accelerate solutions for people and for the planet.

To this end, the Office has conceptualized, curated and delivered unprecedented SDG activations. For example, by organizing BTS’s performance on the UN plaza in September 2021 UNOP raised awareness around the SDGs across an audience of over 50 million. Similarly, UNOP built the SDG Studio in collaboration with the government of the Netherlands, streamlining the creation of original and compelling content for contemporary audiences. By creating events such as the SDG Action Zone – a three-day virtual platform during the high-level segment of the UN General Assembly – UNOP continue to promote awareness across a range of audiences. Moreover, UNOP build global networks that enable collaborative solutions for the SDGs such as the UN Conscious Fashion & Lifestyle Network.

UN Partnerships is facilitating collective action aligned with the Secretary-General’s Our Common Agenda by establishing inclusive networks, sharing knowledge and creating shared responsibility to solve contemporary global challenges.
